Greetings and welcome to the official Greenpois0n blog by Chronic Dev Team. As time progresses, new firmwares and devices come and go but our work on the Greenpois0n framework continues with many interesting things planned.
We, as always, look forward to an interesting year filled with challenges. Apples new iPad2 and the soon to be released iPhone5 will undoubtedly deliver the inevitable challenges that we thrive on. As milestones are reached and greenpois0n builds are updated we will share it with you here.

Going to answer a few questions that continue to get asked to hope to cut down on repeat comments.
1. iPad 2 Jailbreak is not available nor is it even close to being ready, thank you for your patience here.
2. greenpois0n does NOT support anything after 4.2.1 and 4.3.x support is not as high a priority as iPad 2 work.
3. there are no ETA’s for ANYTHING regardless of device or firmware version.

Check out tiny umbrella to downgrade but you need to have 4.2.1 shsh blobs saved just google for a tutorial there’s plenty out there
Can I “jailbreak” an iPhone with previous AT&T service so I can use Verizon?
Everyone would love that if it was possible. It wouldn’t work because AT&T uses I believe a GMS network and Verizon uses CMDA network for their phones. Also, AT&T uses SIM cards whereas Verizon doesn’t.

Yes you can but I think they only cover up to 4.2.1.

Why won’t you help them? You want a jailbreak but you don’t want to donate? Like I work and I have a job. After iPad 2 jailbreak I might donate 20$ or more cause let’s face it !! one app in AppStore costs 10 dollar I am talking about the good ones that you’re gonna download for free. They are trying hard… They deserve it.

Hello I understand totally the the iPad 2 has no available jailbreak as of yet, but I’ve scrolled through YouTube and acknowledge a lot of fake video footage, and I also saw a tutorial only video using greenpois0n, while displaying the time constantly and the iPad 2 firmware displayed at the bottom.is this also fake? because if it is it’s the best by far!!!!!
Maybe Apple has out done the team because it never took this long (from March 11th) to now to not have a jailbreak for the people ( one that donates for the cause continuously )

This is my first time jailbreaking anything, i am using the mac version. I can get it to turn black but it wont turn white and then display the code. The program will just say failed or it will close. can anyone help me?

Have Ipod touch 2nd Gen MC model. I upgraded the os to 4.2.1 from the original version. if I break it, am I supposed to downgrade to the original os before I break it? break it from the currently upgraded 4.2.1 os? or upgrade to whatever the LATEST os is? This is not clarified anywhere. They all say to start from a fresh 4.2.1.
