Greetings and welcome to the official Greenpois0n blog by Chronic Dev Team. As time progresses, new firmwares and devices come and go but our work on the Greenpois0n framework continues with many interesting things planned.
We, as always, look forward to an interesting year filled with challenges. Apples new iPad2 and the soon to be released iPhone5 will undoubtedly deliver the inevitable challenges that we thrive on. As milestones are reached and greenpois0n builds are updated we will share it with you here.

Going to answer a few questions that continue to get asked to hope to cut down on repeat comments.
1. iPad 2 Jailbreak is not available nor is it even close to being ready, thank you for your patience here.
2. greenpois0n does NOT support anything after 4.2.1 and 4.3.x support is not as high a priority as iPad 2 work.
3. there are no ETA’s for ANYTHING regardless of device or firmware version.

It’s better if you update your device, then wait for the 4.3.3 jailbreak. Because they’re were some big problems with the 4.3.2 update.
Help I have downloaded your profile and it’s on my ipod but I can’t get cydia to go on there please respond

Isn’t cydia a part of the redsnow? It sucks as far as I’m concerned. Shoot all I want to do is get like Flash onto my IPAD and have not had any luck yet. I will be the first to tell you that I don’t know that much about computers which is why I’m trying to do what these guys have time to help me. Can’t imagine what it would be like to be working on a program so hard and have several hundred people emailing constantly. HELP….

Sometimes I am rigreting the money I spend for this, if I bought iPad 1 I would of enjoyed now. I mean camera sucks, I don’t use it, the only thing about the newer version is the processor.
Really. That is one of the reasons why I’m saving my change for the IPAD 2, the two cameras. Our friends across the US have just purchased one and we are hopeful we an talk with them by computer and see them too. Nice People ya know.

hi ive tried to jailbreak my iphone 4 but it does have a lock on it i dont think anything happened while i tried this in the windows system but now when i turn the phone on it appears with no imei number and it keeps turning off and on why is this?

Hi,i am trying to downgrade my 3gs from 4.3.2 to 4.2.1.When i download the firmware it appears as a zip file and when i open it theres nothing there.Can anyone help as i’m new to all this and very confused !!
When i download the green poison application and try to extract the file….the folder has nothing in it…whats going on???
Help! I jailbreaked my iPod Touch 3G, but Cydia doesn’t work. When I try to open it, it will immedeatly shut down again. Nothing works. I tried turning it on and off, I tried to synchronise it with iTunes, and then it still didn’t work! And I cannot delete Cydia and then redownload it. Can somebody please tell me what to do now? Because I don’t know a lot about iPods and jailbreaking, but maybe somebody else here does? Please help!

i tried to jailbreak my phone it looks like an ipod now. heeeeelp ! my phone dialing thing isn’t on here or anything
try going onto itunes and restoring your ipod. this will remove the jailbreak.

cydia isnt working with the newest greenpoison on 4.2.1
Hey, so I currently have an Apple iPod Touch 2g with 4.2.1 firmware.
I have had issues trying to jailbreak my iPod.
When my iPod goes into DFU mode and is at the last 4 seconds of the steps, it skips to 0 and then says jailbreaking.
Either Greenpois0n crashes or the process fails. Any help?
Is there like a newsletter that we can subscribe to that notify us by email when a new jailbreak is out?
My dumbass had my iphone 4 jailbroken, and I didn’t know that I wasn’t allowed to update it (this is my first apple product x_x”). So here I am with my phone updated and all my custom jailbroken stuff removed and now it’s sitting at 4.2.8.
I suppose next time I won’t update it until the next jailbreak is available. I mean, I managed to get the Loader back, but it just won’t boot it. Meh.

i really appreciate what you have done for the iphone. i use it more and more every day. everything that you have allowed it to do makes it so much more bad ass then 4.3 could ever be. greenpoison is who i recommend to anyone who is looking for a jailbreaking software. its amazing. thankyou again!!
i watched a video on how to jailbreak my iphone.. but i cant seem to full up the first box that says greenpoision and prepare to download.. the most recent one on the site is rc6 and in the video it says rc5.. so idk what to do.. any suggestions???

Hey OPK or bile, for the people that are having trouble with their cydia app crashing or just having a white screen, is that fixable in the source code for the JB, or should they just restore their ipod and re-jailbrake?
I was wondering if this will work with my IPhone 3g, I see that 3gs is in the list, I did not know if the regular 3g made a difference or not.

I’ve seen others asking about iPhone 3G and 4.2.1 but no answers. I can’t get it to work either. Downloaded RC6 today. Ran it per directions several times. During the process the screen goes black. At the end of the process instead of saying “Jailbreaking” it says “Try again?” Mac OSX recognizes an Apple device in DFU mode, but I can’t wake the phone up. I end up restoring it via iTunes.

Hi there, my first time jailbreaking my 4.2.1 iPad and it was successful! However, my youtube keeps returning the message ‘server is not correctly configured’.. can you help please? thanks!
i restored my ipod then jailbroke it. The loader thingy came up and i got about halfway through downloading cydia and it said something about not having enough space to download even though i had 6.56 there. I open cydia and it says loading files and then exits 3 seconds after i open it. Its done this at least 5 times. can anyone tell what the crap is wrong?
