Apple Watch 2.0 brings full native apps

Now this was quick, we just got our hands on the Apple Watch running Watch OS and Apple is already talking about the Watch OS 2.0. Apple Watch got mix reviews from all over the world and Apple has tried to address the issues with the introduction of Watch OS 2.0.

One thing which bothered most of the Apple Watch users was the lag with the apps as Apple Watch OS 1.0 does not support native apps and have to reply on the iPhone which results in the delay. With Watch OS 2.0 native apps are now a reality and apps won’t be relying on the iPhone. Apple has also added new watch faces including a Photo face where you can set your favorite photos as the watch face.

There is also a Time-lapse Photo face which includes some famous places and as the time passes by the Time-lapse Photo changes accordingly. Apple is also giving developers access to the digital crown along with the health kit where they can integrate the features right within their apps. Developers will also have an access to accelerometer and the microphone and now can take full advantage of the “taptic” feedback.

Apple has also enable short videos for the watch and Siri is smarter now. You can reply to the mails right from the Apple Watch through Siri and ask her to start a 300-calorie run for you. A very nice looking 3D achievement is then awarded to you after reaching your goal. Last but not the least Apple Watch now has a new Nightstand mode where the watch acts as a beautiful alarm clock while being charged. You can snooze the alarm by pressing the Digital Crown.

Sadly Watch OS2.0 wont be available to users until later this fall.
