Another phablet with 6.8 inches full HD display is on its way from Lenovo
Phablets are surely getting bigger day by day and if new rumors are to believed Lenovo is soon coming up with its very own 6.8-inch phablet. Even Apple has acknowledged and bigger is better for them too. Samsung is already enjoying strong sales with its Note 4 and gearing up for the Note 5 this September and now Lenovo is pushing the boundaries with a 6.8-inch phablet.
6.8-inch phablet should be called a tablet but Lenovo has some other plans for its phablet. The upcoming phablet will be able to make and receive phone calls. It known as PB1-770N and has passed certification at the Chinese regulator TENAA. Coming to the specs, it will be powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core processor along with 3 or 4GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage with a support of microSD card up to 64GB.
The chipset is still unknown at this point but details about the display are known. Lenovo will be using a 6.8-inch diagonal Full HD display with a 324ppi which is enough for a phablet of this size. Weighing at 230 grams the phablet is just 7.7mm thin and feature a metallic uni-body. It is also said to have a 3500 mAh battery which seems to be a little less for a 6.8 inches full HD display.
The 13MP back camera and 5MP front camera are also on the spec sheet and the phablet will support dual-sim with 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and a microUSB v2.0 . Lenovo PB1-770N will be announced soon and will take on the Galaxy Note 4, iPhone 6 Plus and Huawei P8 Max.
